If you like it, it doesn't look like you would be out too much. I suspect true rosewood is protected and if they knew the origin of the damascus steel, they would use it as a selling point. Another flag in my mind is the mention of engraving. Anyway, once there's a markup for retail, it may well be a cookie cutter import. That doesn't mean it's a bad product or that you wouldn't like it, maybe they'll have one available to look over without obligation to buy. Also, unless highly confident, I wouldn't appear to conceal a double edged knife. I hope I don't seem too negative, have fun at the expo.
Appear to conceal? That's a contradiction in terms. It's either hid or it ain't. Besides, I can't tote this one concealed, 'less you can make me a center of the back shoulder harness like Crocodile Dundee had.
A boot knife! What kind of honky-tonks you hanging out in now-a-days?
I have a couple of dive knives that strap from my calf to my ankle that are pretty handy to get at...Geo
It get's pretty rough when you're Chairman of Deacons at First Baptist, Geo, and a feller needs a proper Sunday-go-to-meeting knife.
Thanks, Matt and Lloyd. With that rec I think I'll call Lou and get him to pack one up and bring it to Bray's Island.
See ya', SRH
