That's quite the duck. Waist band and somewhat endowed.
Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Thank you Mr. Snyder. I was hoping you would know. I look forward to adding a copy of your book to my library on these fine guns. This acquisition was the last to complete my getting at least one example of the 5 manufacturers (LC Smith,Parker,Fox,Lefever,Ithaca) I've always wanted to have together in my modest collection.

Uh oh... Now its time to begin thinking of Remington, Colt, Hollenbeck, Baker, Syracuse, Wilkes-Barre, Parry, Baltimore, Meriden, Schneider, Winchester, CSMC, Tobin, Hopkins&Allen. And that's just the high quality classics. 150 or more Crescent names, plus the Savage/Stevens bunch. N.C.Davis? No, it ain't over till you die or go broke...Geo

Redoftx, Here is a grade 7 that Laytham did. The dog is very similar to yours (IMO). Laytham was very fussy about his lettering and he scribed two lined to help him do that. I can see those lines on your gun. His style was told to me by Robert Runge Jr. who knew him.

RedofTx, Very Nice accomplishment. Although, as much recognition as the "Top Five" get, Two of those may never have been were it not for one Mr. Baker. As a tribute to American makers an early example from Baker Gun & Forging Co is most certainly worth consideration. John
