Bought a Model 71 with a lot of well organized reloads as follows
Brass: Winchester Primer: Federal 210M Powder: 67.3 grns Reloader 22 Bullet: 220 grn. Barnes
Dare I shoot these?
I also have 100 NIB Kodiak Bonded Core 250 grn .348 Bullets -- Any one have a good recipe for these?
Thanks
MIke

Mike,
My .02 is NO. The loader might have been the most experienced guy around and never had or will have a problem. Then he could have been the biggest klutz that experienced blown primers and all that jazz. I always pull the bullets, dump the powder and figure I have a batch of components to work with. That is just me. I've loaded for 60 years now without a glitch and still wouldn't feel comfortable shooting someone elses or selling/giving my reloads. Sorry, no help on the Kodiaks.

I do not have any dogs in this race, but it peaked my interest and I ran a quickload virtural computer program for the load that you stated of 67.3 g of Reloader 22 and barnes original 220 g bullet. Quickload predicted that the chamber pressure from this load would be 49,294 psi, which is at least 3,000 psi above maximum allowable chamber pressure for a .348 Win cartridge.

OK! I thank you both for your advice and assistance. I'll get a .348 collet for my puller and get busy.
