TSS or whatever you want to call it is no God weapon. I shudder to think people who think it will give you leads killing range with even extra. Most duck hunters should be range limited to 30-35 yards, 25 yards would be better. To give them a shell that gives them hope for killing ducks at 40, 50 or 60 yards will just encourage many to exceeded their abilities.
It patterns tight as Hell from what I understand. Then you have two choices. Use a more open choke for better closer patterns or stick with tight chokes and be very handicapped on all near shots. So while it does penetrate well, your working pattern will be limited one way or another. Are you going to have large enough effective patterns to hit ducks or geese at range? Will you put enough shot into a vital area to kill the bird quickly? A bird which flies 200 yards before bleeding out to die will never be recovered by 99% of hunters.
Most know my views on Turkeys and I have no problem with people using TSS on them. But a wounded Turkey has a better chance for recovery if tracked. A duck, which flies away has almost none.
