With the new models introduced in 1935, they eliminated the opposing hooks Deeley Latch and reverted back to the old tried and true Baker J-spring snap-on/-off latch for the extractor guns.

On the ejector guns they paired the Baker J-spring with a lever actuated tilting block (a la Parker Bros.) to lock the forearm on.
