Stepped out of my LC Smith comfort area and purchased a Fox Sterlingworth made in 1913. It needs a new butt plate. I see in previous posts and at CSMC there are two styles. Which style do I need and where was the cutoff for future reference? Also, does anybody know the butt plate screw size. I'm assuming an flat oval headed, but doesn't anyone know the approximate diameter?
Thanks!

Here's a place to get one. Measure the butt on your gun and order accordingly...Geo < http://gungrip.com/>

Thanks! I found that site later too. Should be the ticket.
I can't stand the reproduction urethane plastic butt plates. They look purple/dark blue to my eyes for whatever reason.

The supplier that makes Jasons plates is the same that supplies CSMC and most other gunsmiths in the industry. The supplier is wholesale only and does not sell to individuals.
