Hi all, first, I don't want to break any forum rules or hurt any feeling (or cause any slander!). If so please delete this post.
Anyway, what are your impressions, dealings with Steve Barnett Fine Guns?
Fair to deal with, customer service any info?
Please PM me if you don't care to post here.
Thanks so much!!!

I have dealt with Steve and bought a gun not too long ago from him. I found them to be good to deal with. I purchased the gun and had it shipped to my FFL holder. It arrived at my FFL and I went immediately there, inspected the gun, and found something I was not aware of prior to purchase. I called Steve and spoke with him about it. He wanted to make it right or I could have sent the gun back. In a few minutes of talking we both came to an agreement and he sent me part of my money back. I found him to be very polite, quick to reply, and after this little issue and how he was easy to deal with to resolve it, I would not hesitate to do more business with him. In my experience...he was a good guy to deal with.
This little issue was an oversight on their part, and I sent him pictures of the "issue" and he immediately apolgoized for missing it. He didn't try and play the game "IT wasn't there when it left here, etc..." He owned up to missing it and said, "what do I need to do to make you happy with it". Wish more dealers were like him in this respect.

I also bought a gun from Steve Barnett recently. It was a very good experience. The gun was exactly as represented. No problems of any kind. Rich

Same here. I have bought several from him. One had damage from shipment and he worked to make things acceptable. Not his fault but he did me right. Very cooperative and answers any questions without being impatient. Customer oriented

I have purchased several guns from Steve over the last three years. Every deal has been fair and honest.
I consider Steve to be one of the best and most honorable dealers out there and I am not the only one that feels that way.

Steve carries on the tradition of the good ol' southern gun seller - unlike the eastcoast cry-babies!
