I just read where a man in Germany has been arrested.
it is believed he may have killed 20+ of his former co-workers by placing poison in there lunch. The poisons included lead, cadmium & another which I don't recall. They had all been presumed to have died of natural causes, their bodies may be exhumed to further determine their cause of death.
As the old saying goes "Where there is a Will, There is a Way".
About the only lives which have been saved by Gun Laws are those of some hardened criminals which Needed Killing.
Heaven Forbid a criminal should be killed rather than their Victim.
