I found that muzzle loaders are fun for quail and pheasant hunting, particularly pen-raised birds with a dog. Its my thought that ducks or doves, where you have to be prepared to shoot when your prey comes to you, might be a bit frustrating on an active day. Im looking forwards to your thoughts about this subject after dove seasons over.
