Keith,
There are absolutely no gas line photos in my posts, the pictures you see are from a big logging trail that run across a couple mountains in Potter County.
We do get some bigger snows from time to time before Christmas, however our really big snows in Potter/Tioga come later in winter, from January thru February even into March at times. The year before last we had big snows even around Thanksgiving. It all depends on the weather. Each year seems to be different now, when I was a kid the snows started around Thanksgiving and never stopped till spring.
The point I was making is that we no longer have the best part of Grouse season here in Pa to hunt. We will see if we have any snow at all before Christmas this season to hunt in, probably very few days will be sunny and snow covered before Christmas. It's been that way for a while now. Later in the season it has been getting so cold that people who live in my area, have had frozen water lines in their homes, and come to my place to get water during these times.
