In person it looks as though it was cut yesterday. The Charcaol blue on the trigger guard strap and butt plate show lots of wear...there's some dings on the checkering. I don't think you are looking at what could be termed a restoration...Who ever 'refreshed' the gun years ago did a wonderfull job.
