Like some others here I enjoy a good argument, and I've occasionally missed Missfires for that reason. However, I think Dave was right to shut it down. This is the only online forum I participate in.I like this site, and I've learned a lot from it. Many here lament the country's partisan wrangling. We can't do anything about the bigger picture, but we certainly could change the tone here. Suppose we just decided to treat each other with respect and courtesy even though we often disagree. Our attacks here accomplish nothing but to fan the flames.
