A nominee for the SC has no immunity from investigation and should welcome the chance to prove the accusations false. Kavanaugh's right to privacy is subordinate to the country's right to know that he is fit for a lifetime appointment. Ford is clearly not politically motivated. That she's been used is clear but doesn't make her a liar.
No one except Kavanaugh and his accuser can possibly know who is telling the truth. Democrats didn't invent this accusation. Now there is another one. Wouldn't it make more sense to hear the testimony before concluding who's telling the truth? We have one sexual offender on the court already. We have another sexual predator nominating Kavanaugh. Let's try to get the facts ( not the alternative facts) before we take sides.
