Chris,

It took six months to receive my Shotgun Certificate from the Thames Valley Police. I had a little 20 bore Bernardelli Brescia hammer gun I had brought with me from Italy and there was a Commander at the command that did not have a Shotgun Certificate though he had a Rizzini 12 bore that I took off his hands for near nothing. Took the thing down, wrapped it in "The Times" and carried it on the train from Marylebone to Denham. Sad part is that while I was off to Innsbruck for the Winter Olympics in 1976 my house was "burgled" and I lost everything including the shotguns. I called the police and they said to take it up with my insurance company. When I told them that I had lost several guns they had CID there within 30 minutes. Nothing was ever recovered.

You think Austin will keep "Kerr Dog" in line. I saw Cabby Boone with young Hillary at Wilmore this past sunday.
