Well, I for one sure as hell dont. Ive owned 4 A-5s and the 1 Model 11. No difference in the handling between the two 16s.
I forgot to add that my A-5 light 12 was an absolutely, totally reliable waterfowl gun for the 5 years I owned it. I took 100s of Ducks with that gun. It never once failed to operate. That gun was hunted on the Platte River almost exclusively, anyone whos hunted that water knows the elements that are involved. Dead reliable.


For reference, I shot the M11 for a winter on the Kaw River (aka Kansas River) around Lecompton KS. Same basic environment. Blowing sand, some mud. Lots of ice and snow. It was not reliable. My 870 was and so was the '97 Winchester, but not the M11.
