With Canada and China, for starters. The president saying he didn't like the Ukrainian chick raised her position significantly. We knew she was doing a good job, supported by our opposition parties, but getting under the president's skin was a dividend. Maybe enough to be future PM. OH MY GOD! Could you misread events more? I commend you a quote, not quite Fryeian in substance or intelligence. ...that leadership is coming from Europe and China...
All I can say is if the Cinese ever offer their leadership in overhauling the port in Vancouver just ask the Malayasians or Pakistanis how it is working out for them. Leadership from the Europeans? In the immortal words of John McEnroe, You can not be serious! __________________________ Leafs? Anyone? (crickets)

No one gets what they want in trade negotiations, including the US. Canada knew going in it would lose supply management advantages in the dairy industry. The strongest complaints came from the dairy industry. Escaping "with our economic life" won't be all that bad when we'll be paying considerably less for dairy products.

King Brown, Turdo and his side kicks got their butts kicked. They were negotiating from a position of weakness and were to idiotic to realize it. Complete and total incompetence.

You are living in a dream world. We gained nothing. Cheaper dairy products for consumers does not make up for what the producers and government tax base gave up.

Where will leadership come from? The president, giving the finger to all US allies, says he doesn't need anyone because he's going to make the country great again--- alone. Told to shove off, other countries are understandably striving to make other arrangements. And the president now is off to repair China trade talks. Globalization shutters US to going alone.

Neighbouring Maine has lots of milk. Wisconsin nearest Canada's greatest concentration of population, too.

James, if our national newspaper of record, the conservative Globe and Mail, is to be believed, for all that was at stake, for how the US hammered unsuccessfully at our no-budge positions, Canada came out of it essentially with another NAFTA with another name.

Uh oh, are you a little jealous? Alone? Nope, we're colluding with the russians, and therefore the Germans and iranians. You know what that means, healthcare cuban style after the midterms, cash only please if you're a noncitizen.
