Boxbirder,
I believe you are talking about the anger of the "approved" US dealers/distributor over the guns bought outside the US and brought here to be sold as "new" and that people are buying overseas for their personal use while saving the high cost of a US distributor imported gun. If that's the case, I can tell you that I overheard some scuttlebutt that may have come from the factory authorized distributor stating that he would not work on nor warranty any "gray market" gun. This was during the time when I was looking for a Pgun 4-5 yrs ago. As I understand it, there is only one factory authorized distributor for the US and he is in So. Calif and actually had a display at our local range for a while before the LA County donks ruled gun sales illegal on the county leased grounds.

Anyway, I'm not sure how a company that prides itself on being a company that markets products globally to the fairly affluent public that obviously travel to competitions across the world, could have a distributor/service network that didn't honor a factory warranty or service their product based on nothing more than where it was purchased.

So, I bought a Kgun. Screw 'em. If they can't figure out how to market their products in the US at prices competitive with sources in other countries, they deserve to have the gray market problem.
