Dads taste in guns was a bit different than mine. Not better or worse, just different.

Ted, I have a Benelli SBE ii just like your gun. I traded a 20 ga jammamatic Franchi for it (never could get that Franchi to run, dry or wet, a single shot even with Rem express....maybe the magazine recoil spring needed replaced?). Anyway, the SBE ii will not reliably eject 1 oz loads. I tried some Fiocchi shooting dynamics and even though they are fairly hot 1 oz loads it would regularly jam with those shells. Benelli tells you the guns will only reliably throw out 1 1/8 oz shells and they are right. Didnt know that when I made the trade, I do now.
