Last year I came across several sections of 10 heating duct. Made wood duck nesting boxes out of it by cutting a 16 section, cutting the top at a 30 degree slope to shed water. Cut a hole in the front so ducks could get in, installed a plywood floor and plywood roof and attached them to metal fence post I had. Filled with shavings.

I figure it was someone that didn't like seeing the trash you called nesting boxes in the woods ?
Ky....I wasn't aware that wood ducks would nest in steel pipes ?
