Never change the listed load by using anything other than the exact components listed. Substituting wads, hulls or primers can make a load a vastly different one from one that you think it ought to be. A simple primer or wad change can add a extra 1,000 psi or more. Change the hull from a Federal paper based or all paper and the pressure can go up much more. Also note that primers have changed a lot over the years so do not use a 30 old year listed load with todays primers without contacting the powder manufactures. Most will give very sound advise just for the asking.
