I always buy guns as if I will have to sell it one day. If you never plan to sell a gun, then you can content yourself with it whatever the originality. I never want to have to explain why a gun isnt "right" to a buyer.

Don't think I'd buy a shooter LC Smith for 500-600.00.
There's more than what meets the eye with these bargains.
Good shooter field grades start in the 1500.00s and then there's hope.

I looked at couple of those high conditioned guns from the "typewriter maker", but went with Fox instead. It's simpler less trouble-prone design.
