Are you relying on Borderview or Bilozir for information and payment of fees to Borderview? It wouldn't have been shipped to ATF under any circumstances. Perhaps someone is confusing FFL with ATF. Once the gun is in Borderview's hands in Canada you should have been sent an email and at some point an FFL request for where the gun is to be shipped. It doesn't take 11 months for Borderview to have the gun processed on both sides of the border. Do you have an email trail from Borderview? If not, it's time to get one started. It took from April to September of this year to get the process completed for me until when I received the gun I imported. Gil

Borderview handles all the paperwork. They have offices on both sides of the border. When U.S. clears the import, they drive the guns across the border for engraving import info and ship to your FFL. You just send your card number and ffl after they get the go ahead from U.S. Customs. They are pros. Gil

As Gil says, Borderview handles it all. I've used them a number of times and been impressed with their service. Gil's experience (for length of time) has been unusual in my experience. They said they were backed up this year for some reason. Sometimes hard to know where the delay is....Borderview getting to it or BATF and what they need to do.
I've also used a similar service from IRUNGUNS. Liked Borderview better because their engraving has been much more discreet.
