No Iam am FFl person..Just a person try to get my SXS. Shotgun I order in Dec.2017 and still don't have it..I will never buy a sporting firearm this way again..Matter fact I never received an invoice for transaction.. Sound like you paddle up chit creek with crack paddle...

Did you buy it with a credit card? Was it charged and do you have evidence of that? Did Borderview say they have your gun or know where it is? What does the seller of the gun have to say? Are there any tracking numbers of it being sent anywhere in the past 12 months?
There are a lot of simple questions that need answers if anyone is going to be able to help.

I visit Canada to hunt and have a Canadian Possession and Acquisition licence. I've seen a few good deals on old doubles but never bought one fearing the importation problem...Geo

It is time for you to ask for a copy of the invoice or other proof of purchase, a copy of the tracking number information and shipment record to Borderview, a verification that Borderview received the gun and a copy of the initiating form that the seller filled out for Borderview. You are past dealing with people on the phone. Make email requests or certified, return receipt requests by snail mail. "Phone call? What phone call?" Phone conversations are often in one ear and out the other. It is hard for someone saying you made no request when you can establish a paper or cyber trail.

Good advice from GLS. Someone's stole your gun and if you're gonna do anything about it you'll need "courtroom" evidence, even if Judge Judy hears the case on TV...Geo

Just wondering. Did you purchase from a dealer in Canada or from an individual who was suppose to take it to the export broker?
Also:
ATF is not set up to receive or hold guns. The only time they will take guns is if it is NFA guns or picking them up from a convicted person.
