Oscar had a guy he said used PSW for barrel lug buildup. Or maybe it was Kirk Merrington that had a guy doing it for him.
I believe PSW machines are as affordable as TIG machines now. Oscar mentioned the very good controllable buildup with the new machines, to me either in this forum or an email. After he mentioned it, I looked at the catalogs and it seemed like something that a common machineshop or welding shop could afford.
On something like a rotary bolt hole, I'd lean toward boring the hole and either sleeving it or having the orig or replacement rotary bolt built up with electroless nickel and machined to fit the new hole. I think PSW in a hole may not be possible with standard equipment. Also, electroless nickel could be used in a hole. Of course, given enough money, a lot of things can be done. But, Oscar gave me the impression PSW was being used on barrel hinges today.
