I just got back from Scott Lindens fur feathers and friends hunt for vets at Ravenwood lodge near Topeka. Over 100 Vets and active duty folks were hosted. Support from Toyota and Navhda made it free to vets and active duty . Navda members brought dogs from as far as NH. Ma. Fla. and me from VA. vets were given a cooler to take home birds. lots given to F.T. Leavworth. Great fun and wonderful dog work. After I did some walk in areas and went through pa and did some ruffed Grouse hunting. It was snowing in Topeka and my 13 year old GSP made a dozen points and retrieves the birds were hunkered down under the snow and prairie grass. I had to almost drag her out of the fields to get my pup on the ground A very good trip
