I just can't understand people who buy and shoot expensive guns selling their 2nd amendment rights down the drain for a dollar. Obviously more than 1 dick out there. Boycotting Dicks because they stopped selling assault rifles? Seems to smack of socialism to require a company to sell something... Who was it that required Dick's to sell anything? Nobody... that's who. Once again, you are seeing things that never happened. Dick's made the decision to stop selling so-called assault style rifles, and gun owners have responded by boycotting Dick's. What is Socialistic about that? Guys like DrBob, BrentD and B. Dudley have suggested a similar boycott of financial support of this site because Dave doesn't run it the way they demand. Why haven't you accused them of acting like wormy parasitic Socialists? Since you support bans on semi-autos and restrictions on the gun rights of law abiding U.S. citizens, you are free to spend money at Dick's to show your support for Dick's. It's no secret that you apparently like Dick's, nca225. I suppose more than a few here secretly be liking some Dick's I don't like Dick's.
Fellow at Dick's asked me "do you have a Dick's card ?"....
Nope don't have one don't want one and don't need one...you do know that most gun owners me included hopes Dick's goes broke and crawls back in the closet where he belongs.
He replied..."that's what I heard".
I've only ever bought two different items at Dick's Green Superfeet shoe insoles (because they are the only local place that sells them) and Remington Gunclub ammo when I saw they had it on sale.

If you can't see the distinction, I cant help you. As you often love to point out, you can't fix stupid. BTW, I've been in favor of limiting magazine capacity on semi-automatics, but I'm certain you can't reproduce one statement from me, as you often do with Ed or King, to support a ban on semi-autos. I've asked you to do that before, but you never do. I think you'd sooner go cry to Dave to get this one shut down just like you did on the "No more money for Dave" thread.

Nightly news noted Dick's $ has dropped off by something like 5%. Well, that most surely has someone's attention in Dick's corporate offices!! But, who knnows how said "somebody" will respond.
