Joe Wood, I agree. It took me a while to see it but I found the other end of the lever in the trigger guard and that aligned well with the configuration of the gun that fallschirmjaeger linked to. I also agree that it is an 1890s photo. I wish I could think of a way to figure out who the guy in the photo is. little joey, No goats. Best I can do is this one, but these are more closely related to giraffes than goats. Not that you care or can even process that, but now ya know.

Yup. Tasty ones too, but they are not goats, and not even close to goats. Mysterious animals that seem to be more closely related to giraffes (although very distantly) than any other mammal.
I had left over speed goat roast last night as a matter of fact.

Cool rifle and nice Buck. Glad to see someone else using old guns and iron sights. Single shot rifles are my favorite type cartridge guns....sure love a good sporting muzzle loader though.

Le fuse, the photo is just for little joey. He asked, and it was the best I could do. Must say, your fuse seems short and easily lit of late. Carry on. SKB, I do pretty much all of my mammal hunting with singleshots. Either BPCRs or muzzleloaders. Rarely, an old Marlin lever gun. This year, I killed a couple of antelope with an .38-72 1885 Winchester and a .38-55 Marlin 1893. Was out after squirrels this morning with my favorite singleshot, favorite gun of all time. I'd post a picture, but le fuse might blow.

I'm confused as to why anyone here would wish too offer BrentD any assistance at all in any question he has???
This is the same turd who urges everyone to follow his lead in withholding support for this site until it either fails, or conforms to his whining crybaby vision.
LeFusil and jOe understand this. I'm sure they also know about BrentD's support for lead ammunition bans. BrentD is very similar to ed good, except ed doesn't cry so much.
