Those who didn't attend missed a great event. The course was really nice, challenging but with enough simple shots to keep a novice interested. The lovely and gracious Cherie shot a 48 and I managed an 80. Great folks too. There was a lot of dog talk afterward. Cherie and I missed the food on Saturday as we were still at the writers conference but we heard that it was wonderful.
The turn out was not what it should have been but I will not miss it next year. I hope that more members of this board are there as well. The facilities there are better than that of the Southern and the ability to run over to Memphis for ribs on Sunday night capped the whole thing.
