My pad jobs deal primarly with trap, skeet and sporting clays and everyone wants Kickezz. Yesterday I did an old english pad and the base was out of flat at least .040. Is this common on brand P pads? It added time to what is normaly quick and easy.

This is when a floor mounted belt sander is your friend.

Your right, I used a mounted belt sander to flatten the pad AFTER I figured out it was the pad and not the sstock.
