I was wondering about the blast cabinet also. Possibly using walnut hull media or other soft media?

220 grit aluminum oxide. Like spraying powder almost.

I use my wife's elecric hair drier to blow away the excess water. It is blasted off and the tubes dry instantly. Have had nothing but good results with this procedure. Chops
