Regardless of personal politics, this situation was both predictable and expected.
Any one with a lick of sense knew going into this shut down that tens of thousands of middle-class families would be caught up in the wage delays that a shutdown would bring. That a shutdown would also impact other businesses manned by Trump supporters was an unintended consequence of the action. Unless it wasnt unintended.
Additionally, the only real question should have been how long would this go on before the pressure brought to bear by constituents began to make supporters worry about re-election. Again, a predictable outcome.
Judging from my readings, lots of people thought it would be the other guy that was to get blown up. An unfortunate, unexpected surprise.
Out there doing it best I can.

He got elected because he said Mexico will pay for the wall.... I'm with you dal. Who'da thought he'd get Canada to cave and pay for the wall. Kudos to this President for looking to congress to get a bill to him, rather than go it alone via exec orders the way barry the justice peddler fleeced his congregation.

I suggest that those who voted for Mr. Trump pay for the wall that he promised would be paid for by Mexico. He is the perfect example of the Dunning- Kruger effect.

I suppose Hillary going to war with Russia would have been a better alternative?

I would suggest thanking God that a supporter of our President is leaving the great state of Wisconsin out of massive debt and with a nice surplus. Here's hoping the smart folks don't blow within six months, eh?

If the US military and the Border Patrol would start shooting them it would be a lot cheaper than a wall.

I suppose Hillary going to war with Russia would have been a better alternative? Who's going to war with Russia now? Putan's buddy? Manafort's oligarch buddies just had sanctions removed...no?

Life is too short to have a 'hate on' for so many things or people. Isn't it?

If you want a more liberal approach they make rubber bullets.
