I have many area dairy farms where I shoot barn pigeons- farmers hate all the poop they distribute- I pick up my empty shells, and pick up all the dead birds I can find, and with the farmer's OK, I put them in the manure spreaders- where they can later help in the fertilizing process-- We can't shoot doves here in MI--but starlings and blackwing blackbirds are legal, redwing blackbirds are protected.
