Friend of mine broke his arm the other day getting breakfast ............ fell out of the 'simmon tree.

The Saskatoon seems to be from the Northwest & the Sarvis from the East. They are indeed the same family, likely a slight variation or different subspecies.

Turned out my nephew wants a 12 gauge and he is buying one I found online made by AKUS.

Saskatoons-yum, yum. We had a bumper crop of wild saskatoons last year. Hope it's the same this year.
