I have come across a pretty good deal on a Model 23 (please don't ask the version, as I think it is a pigeon grade). It has 25 1/2" barrels, straight stock, 12 ga., the wood is excellent and I would say (IMHO) that the entire shotgun is no less than 95% condition.

The individual is asking just under $1100 CDN for it.

Can anyone tell me if these are adequate field shotguns? I am assuming so, but look to you good folks for guidance.
