I did not state well.
The bore gauge used is one of a professional quality,but I was not given the number. What I meant to say was that the walls, at the muzzle, appeared to be at least .030 in thickness. This meant, to me, that the barrels could not have been bored out to 14 gauge. It meant that they were 14 gauge from the beginning and the chambers were 16 gauge.
Does this not seem reasonable???
I left the gun with Steve Hutton and I have no doubt that he will measure them and we should definitely know for certain.
I will have all the numbers in a couple of days.
