Agree, Jon- In Silvio and pals book on Hemingway's guns, the second edition, the M42 he once owned, and let third wife Martha Gelhorn start her short hunting career with, was severely "bodgered" by some "Hack"--

I visited the area Cabela's Gun Library today, and they had several 12 gauge M12's with some area of concern, at least to me. Unlike the now defunct Gander Mt. - with the Cabela's/Bass-ackwards-Pros-- they just buy "em low, and sell 'em "As is" no warranty as to function. RWTF
