Thought i would ask Winchester's opinion so called the service department in Missouri ( That will make for an interesting phone bill )
Their opinion is that its perfectly normal for their guns to feel "a little rough" and that's the way its supposed to be.
Well its good to know its okay to be proud of what seems to be a flawed design.
Anyhow it doesn't help my client who thinks that a sticky top lever is not acceptable!
I think the "select" is now called the 101 in the USA - Visually on the website its the same mechanism.
