OK, Joe, Ive spent considerably more time looking at the photos and comparing them side by side and I guess youre right. On first glance I thought it was Niedner and I still think they look a lot alike, have similar noses, and wore similar glasses. But it appears that Niedner always wore his hair longer and not as slicked back as the man in the first photo.

I was happy to share the photos and may try to dig up some more for our readers here. I second guessed myself when I saw the photo Michael used in His book.

I couldn't decide whether the man in question was Niedner or not but in looking at the guns, they did not look like the sorts of guns that were in most of Niedner's photos that I have seen in books, so I was betting against it.

Thanks for the great photos Joe! I didn't think it was Niedner, but didn't want to commit too much without images to compare. I agree with Brent on the types of guns in the first image also. Just didn't fit the guns I'd seen images of Niedner with previously.
