What a dandy combo gun that is. You don't see many Italian combo guns with case colour on the receiver, most are coin finished. That is the first 222 Rem Mag I've seen also. Usually they are 222 Rem, 5.6x50R Mag or 22 Sav. Highpower(5.6x52R).
It is a real plus that it has the rings it has, as it will be much easier to swap in a more modern straight tube scope in the future and the scope is mounted very low. With some practice you can shoot flying game with it set on the lowest power although it is a little easier with a true 1x on the bottom end. Both mine have 1-4x20mm Leupolds on them but I've used Nikon 1.5-4x20mm and Weaver 1-3x20mm(nice little scope for a combo gun if you can find one that doesn't have fish eye on the lowest setting)
I will say they make one of the best coyote calling rigs for close cover, specially with the scope mounted. 1 3/4x for the "to your shoelaces stuff" and 5x will get you too 300 yards with ease for that rascally guy that hangs up on the far knoll. I have two that I regularly use, a 12ga/22 Sav Highpower(BRNO) and a 12ga/5.6x50R Mag(Bernardelli). I sold a American Arms(Marrochi made) 12ga/222 Rem to a turkey hunter and he kills about 6 coyotes for every turkey he gets when the coyotes come into hi turkey calling.
Hope you have as much fun hunting with it as I do with mine.
