Perfect poi and accurate choke designations. Ejectors well timed and with just enough energy to clear the shooter, without being a hazard to others nearby. The single trigger functions well. The 7 pin locks are both beautifully bone case colored and polished, engine turned with all pins nitre blued. Im quite pleased with its quality and handling. It has 3" chambers a will fire a 3" shell without doubling. Aside from this one test, I'll not be shooting anything other than reasoable loads in this gun. Please note I meant the inside of the locks are polished, etc.

Single trigger on a SLE is going to be a non starter for most.

It was for me as well, at first. I found it hard at first to believe that this sort of gun could ever be duplicated. No its not equal to an actual H&H. No more than AyA or Grulla, etc. It is on par with Spain, perhaps even better consideing the level of internal finish on mine. However, I did call Dickinson and strongly suggest DT as standard. They told me that their dealers were driving the whole single trigger thing. I tooprefer double triggers.

Thanks for the report, JHJ. I, too, have been pleased with the quality of the internals on Dickinson guns.

I ordered my Dickinson with double triggers, but then again it's not a Prestige model SLE.

Does Dickinson offer you the option of two triggers if you order it through a dealer? I like two as well and am willing to pay for them. Others might not care and I can shoot a single just as well but you like what you like.

The rep went on to explain that they could easily provide these to dealers if they would order them.

Yes, Jon. I ordered mine through Tom Bryant when he was still at Cabela's in Sidney, NE. Had it in about two months, AIR. You might even find what you want just by calling.
Cabela's and Pacific Sporting Arms are dealers. Just a quick perusal of PSA's stock shows 33 Dickinson guns, 12 of which have double triggers. Cabela's likely has a good stock, too.
