That is a beautiful model 375 David. The 375 was SD&G's top offering at the time the gun was produced as SD&G had yet to introduce the "Regent Diamond" quality guns (model 500).

I agree with Doug that the gun is worth more like $10K, possibly more. My first swag at the value, sight unseen, was to give you a floor - i.e., even a trashed model 375 would be worth at least $6K. The gun needs a little cleanup to bring it back to its former glory but nothing too drastic.

Enjoy your gun! The chukars in Hells Canyon don't know what they are in for.

As I remember, it was a dark and stormy night, when she

Tim:
There is a dark cloud over my head when it comes to Lindners. I hope to one day own a nice one.:}
I am saving my gelt for a 28 gauge side lock. Is it too much to hope that it was built at the same time as the only box lock 410???
If any of you have such a gun, remember that my birthday is in November !!!:}
Best,
John

Wow. What a piece and what a steal. Can you take a close up of the setter? I have seen another Lindner with a very similar dog- I'll try to find the picture.

Dog looks to be a Llewellin setter. Just like period dogs, Count Gladstone Sioux Geneva and Mohawk.
