Bouvier: Do not disparage my grand daughter or I will come to see you. An apology would be in order.

Robert: You are probably right. I have the gun in front of me at the moment. It is marked: "A B T SOMMERDA" on the left barrel & "RHEINMETALL" on the left & "EHRHARDT LAUF" on both. The barrel flats have a number of markings such as: "3 TONS, NP, 729, 12" & various proof marks. The SN is 41506 with only 506 on the fore arm iron. Above the tang safety is the word: "Sicher". The gun has automatic ejectors & Greener cross-bolt. Any info that you might have would be appreciated. Same to you Jagermeister,
Best Regards, George L

No disparagement of your Grand Daughter intended ...... or implied in my post ..... put on your reading glasses. My post "implies" ..... clearly, that no matter what you say about yourself it's clear that you are a gun dealer. You may also be a land dealer .... who cares! Everyone here has an option ... buy guns from you .... or don't
Al
PS: Come to see me if you like .... Trust me, threats are not the way to go.

Al: Explanation accepted. You're right "buy guns or don't". It's a free country.I believe that everyone on this forum could be construed as a "gun dealer".bought sold & traded guns numerous times over a lifetime. Sheer quantity, alone, does not qualify one as a "dealer". I had an FFL many years ago when the cost was $1.00 per year & recordkeeping was minimal. I paid much of my college tuition then buying & selling guns. Does anyone remember: Hunter's Lodge, Val Forgette, Robert Ables, Cecil Pharr or the Tice Brothers from Moyock, NC ?

Thanks Lowell: "To buy or not to buy that's the question" (My apologies to the bard)It's still a free country & my guns are getting older by the minute. Joe: I would say less than 10% of what I have are parts guns or "wallhangers". Some are from makers nobody ever heard of but still good quality English guns.
Best Regards, George

George:
Do you have any English boxlocks by Leech & Sons or those made by the Wright firm?
Kind Regards,
