Agree with you 100% Stan= none of my guns were purchased from any branch of the US Gov't-- the same Uncle Sam I served as a member of the USMC. I do have a NM Garand that came from the CMP program, that's the closest I can figure to this current concept of our Uncle Samuel giving us top dollar for all our - as Beto O'Rourke phrases it- "battlefield weapons used to kill civilians"-- guess a Garand is/was a "battlefield weapon" as was the Springfield 1903 (or variants of same)- so- where do we draw the line.
