Once upon a time, you would go to the swap meet that was part of any good car show, optimistic that you would find old needed parts for your ride. Most of these swap meets have devolved into no more than flea markets, peddling a variety of Chinese made junk. That, is how you end up with a model of a GSX, at an Olds car show.
That used to be a fairly large car show, with a bit of media attention, at a beautiful facility. It happens in a redneck bar parking lot/hayfield now, and other makes are welcome. It was a small event.
A lot of things are changing. Old, retired dudes in Detroit are finding second careers scooping cat poop.
