I'm a big fan of Corey Ford. Back when "The Lower Forty" appeared in every issue of F&S, it was the first thing I read.

So I hate to be a wet blanket here. But as a writer and a champion of intellectual property rights, I have to point out that right at the beginning of the article, it states that it is published with the permission of Dartmouth College (which owns the rights to all of Ford's material). Which means that if you don't have the permission of Dartmouth College, then you can't republish it on the Internet. While I doubt that any problems will arise as a result, there is the potential to get Dave into trouble for permitting the publication of entire articles (short quotes are OK) which are not in the public domain.
