Sorry, but as I've read and studied almost every John Grisham novel, I am of the opinion that the term "predatory" applies to 90% of the lawyers extant- possible exception might be patent attorneys. Lawyers prey on the uneducated, just as sharks do on baitfish (and swimmers)-- FWIW- as I have been a jury foreman twice since 2000- Grisham's novel "Runaway Jury" was a great study in jury selection and human behavior under the stress of a big-buck civil action. Great read, I highly recommend it. And as both College football and NFL are part of the Fall, I just finished reading one of John's lesser known novels: "Playing For Pizza. Just as Stephen King has an "insiders" understanding of baseball, Grishman does with football.
