Suffice it to say the restrictions tore-loading, either Black or Smokeless applicable o the UK do not exist in America. I have been reloading now for around 64 years, both Blck & Smokeless & both Muzzle & Breech Loaders. I still have ten fingers (Including thumbs) two eyes & etc, etc.
All the guns I have loaded for are still intact, but then, I'm not a big user of "Heavy Loads". I load conservatively & follow directions.

Nudge. I would not normally reply to such an bombastic diatribe as you presented but my shoulders are board and I have been criticised by professionals and I take it you are not.
You say only a small percentage re load is that a percentage of the total population or just the shooting fraternity. So I take that as erroneous.
Why is my knowledge of barrel reaming omniscient it is a known fact that it happens and of common knowledge.
Lottery numbers I have no idea of such things other than it is known as "Tax on Fools" you play?
Keep to the point I said that burst barrels would make the national news not here, on your side of thee pond that would be "dog bites man" on this side it would be "Man bites dog"
Drew Hause posted something different regarding the strength of Damascus so I suggest you have a conversation with him on that matter.
Well old yank I am sure you would make a fine petition because you have the one main requisite you can speak through your mouth and Anus with equal aplomb.
Farsi!!! cau eich ecg try this on for size know it all!!
It may be a small grey Island but then we make dam good top class sporting guns.
And finally if you thought you where talked down to in my first post, you are now!

And dont think I am going to begin a highest up the wall pissing contest with you, sorry to disappoint.

Damascus from the small grey Island, my apologies to other readers for this post only refers to Nudge

Damascus,

Im not known for pissing contests, here, or otherwise. If, upon reflection, you cannot see how your delivery might have rubbed a nerve or two, I doubt I could convince you otherwise.

Your logic on the matter alone wouldnt have warranted a response. It was your pomposity, old man. Don't sling a sharp tongue and then act 'a ponce' when it comes back to you.

Perhaps a foamy, room temperature beer will help you get over it?

I agree with pretty much everything that Damascus said earlier.

We do have a lot more reloading activity here, and we have plenty of reloaders who are careless or who make errors. We occasionally see recalls of defective factory loaded ammunition, but modern ammo manufacturers are cranking out billions of rounds with relatively few mistakes.

We also have plenty of so-called gunsmiths who ream pits out of old shotguns. In many cases, they apparently don't bother measuring barrel wall thickness, and only stop when all the pits are gone. Every few months, we see another poster asking us if it is safe to shoot some honed out gun that has something like .019" wall thickness somewhere out around the forend. Many others are undoubtedly blissfully unaware they are shooting guns with thin barrels... because we don't have standards which would require re-proofing after honing.

And just last week, we had someone who should know better advising that it is perfectly OK to shoot Wal Mart promo loads in an old Flues Ithaca 20 gauge with short chambers. No amount of advice to respect the age and limitations of old vintage doubles seems to sink into the heads of people who continue to abuse old guns until the wood cracks or they are hammered off face.

That said, rocky mtn bill was simply ignorant to criticize anybody when he is guilty of insulting and attempting to censor anyone who supports our pro-2nd amendment President Donald Trump. Billy is so ignorant that he supports and votes for the Democrats who work to gut the 2nd Amendment.

So tell us Billy...

Are you pro-2nd Amendment...

... or are you a Democrat???

You can't be both.

Voting for anti-gun Democrats is dumber than giving treats to a dog that shits on a Persian Rug

For those who can read or use the Internet, there are low pressure loads to be found in the US. Some come from Italy or other countries, but many brands are imported.
My old Parker 20 above has been shooting them for a while.

However, when a teenager, I shot what I could find and that included SuperX and other hot ammo.
It was made a "good gun" and has been shot and cared for (despite the dents and scratches) and still functions. It may someday be retired to a display case, but not as long as I can shoot it.
