I feel the need to add a few words about Del Whitman.

In 2002, I had the good fortune to spend two days with Del at Rigby in Paso Robles. The second day was devoted to regulating five double rifles. The shooting was done by Rigby's managing director Geoff Miller, Craig Boddington and yours truly. Del operated the regulation jig, torch and caliper. It was an amazing learning experience for me and the details can be found in the Winter 2003 issue of DGJ. Bottom line - Del knows his 'stuff.'
