Not sure what you mean here. The high tower in the first picture is for clay pigeon shooting. Captive bird shooting in the U.K. was banned in 1922. If you are confusing Drive Bird shooting with captive birds they are not. Any reared birds have to be released wild some months before they can be shot. Not all shooting here is driven as there is a lot of what we call Rough Shooting which is the same thing as what you call Upland Shooting. Most of what is released on shooting estates finds its way all over the place and onto rough shooting land where it can be shot for free by anyone who owns the land or with permission to shoot on the land.
