OP james-l Sidelock Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,274 Likes: 1 California	No, the original rear sight is a base similar to the one on a K98 mauser. the current rear sight is similar to a lyman #16 except it has peep blade instead of a notch, it is mounted on the rear receiver ring I learn something every day, and a lot of times it's that what I learned the day before was wrong
